Great site with tips
May 6, 2009I came across a web site that goes into detail as to what makes a great web portfolio.
http://www.digital-web.com/articles/the_perfect_portfolio/
It’s filled with great tips for when you’re looking for a job and you want to show off your talents to potential employers.
Good Web Portfolio
May 6, 2009One of my friends from Temple has a snazzy web site that he created in his Design class.
http://astro.temple.edu/~tua42675/
I like the colors and the fonts he uses, as well as the picture of him on the main page. The content is great, it includes a Resume, Writings, Voice impersonations, contact info, and a link to another web site he maintains. All in all, a very nicely done web site.
Something with supense
May 6, 2009CHRIST! Someone spent a lot of time building their site. This guy’s web portfolio even has a backround theme to it. And every little button has a sound effect. I don’t care for the gimmicks all that much however, I really like his work when it comes to photoghraphy. Everything he does is real bright and ultra-realistic, it’s kinda spooky.
A Foggy Day
May 6, 2009Anne Day, another photographer with some web design skill, matches home page image with a matchign backround. The picture is of morning fog and trees while the backround has a matching greyness to it. It looks like she got a lot of pics of some prominate people. Everything seems simple and the layout never outdoes the photos.
Yet another great web portfolio
May 6, 2009This girl has some talents when it comes to web design.
The nav menu stays the same no matter what page you go
to. Also, her title name is aligned with the menu.
And she concentrates on wedding photos, according to this site,
so it’s understandable why she chose the backround color
theme. Miller’s Site.
